In the Christian ministry for over thirty years,  Jan was ordained into the Anglican Church in 2002.  As well as ministering in many local churches, she has held chaplainces at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital (15 years), in local & mainland prisons (9 years) and is currently Chaplain of two care homes. She co-founded Carers Coming Together, a charity which offers time out to carers, runs the Guernsey Retreat Assoc. at Les Cotils and - as a Franciscan - is Channel Islands Area Minister for its Third Order. A strong supporter of the ecumenical movement, Jan also founded Life Changing Ministry, which encourages fellowship with other churches.
